As a child I loved rice puff chocolates. The added crunch as I took that sweet bite was a big treat. For this recipe I used a chocolate mold to make individual valentine hearts. Perfect for the family on the 14th! Follow the recipe below for a take on rice puff chocolate. Leave me a message and let me know what you think.
Ingredients
• 1 cup of chocolate chips/chunks
• 1/2 cup of Sunbutter
• 1/2 cup of rice puffs
Directions
1. In a small saucepan melt chocolate on low. Add Sunbutter and stir until melted and combined.
2. Turn off heat and add rice puffs. Stir.
3. Fill heart mold with the mixture and place in freezer to harden. Remove after 20 min and serve. Store hearts in fridge or freezer to avoid melting.
Easy peasy. Enjoy! xoxo
Just made a batch of these! Absolutely delicious and the perfect treat for Valentines Day. The sunbutter really balances out the sweetness of the chocolate and the rice cereal gives it a great crunchy texture. Perfect!
